We both see ourselves called by the LORD into HIS service by HIS grace: …who has saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything we have done but because of HIS own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in CHRIST JESUS…
2.Timothy 1:9
Statement of Faith:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and the inerrant Word of God
( II Timothy 3:15-17, II Peter 1:21).
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit ( Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
We believe in the deity of Christ ( John 10:33); His virgin birth ( Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life ( Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His miracles ( John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death ( I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection ( John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father ( Mark 16:19); His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-13, Revelation 19:14-16).
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace through faith alone are we saved ( John 3:16-19; John 5:24, Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation. ( John 5:28-29)
We believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.( Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. ( Romans 8:13-14, I Corinthians 3:16; I Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18)
We believe that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians. ( I John 4:16-17)
The personal Statement of Faith from Christian Kleinloh (host of this page)
I grew up in a Christian parenthood. But at the age of nine I realized that growing up in a Christian home didn’t make me a Christian. And then on July fifth 1984 at the Bible School in Brake/Germany I gave my life to the LORD. It was a children’s-camp and on that day they talked about the two paths to heaven or to destruction. There I accepted that JESUS died for my sins and from that moment on the HOLY SPIRIT took care of me. That’s the only reason why I can now sit here and write this stuff. It’s only grace!!
Even though God loved me HE didn't force himself on me and always gave me the freedom of choice. So... I ran away from my LORD. I knew in all that I did that I would go to heaven because the LORD saved me on that one day in '84, but I didn’t act on it.
I grew to become very stiff necked and always tried to run through walls. This caused a lot of pain. I looked out for the things that seemed to feel good and so I started living a very double faced life. On Sundays and sometimes Wednesday’s I went to church and had this halo on, but otherwise I was just a rebel. Yes I told everyone that I only listened to Christian music and I did. And I told every girl friend that I had I wouldn’t sleep with them and I didn’t. But all this didn’t excuse my lifestyle. Because to listen to Christian metal is no excuse to live a life full of compromise otherwise. To tell every girlfriend that there will be no sleeping together doesn’t excuse hurting her through a relationship that is not right at the age of 14 or 16 or 18… because you are just not able to do those things that GOD expects from you in a relationship. (to that read Ephesians 5:21-33 and take care you guys to read and quote the verses that are written to you, and you girls read and quote those that are written to you !!)
Then the LORD had to bring me to a point where HE had to break me totally.
And this brought me to crying out to HIM… and HE heard and touched me and
changed me life!!
By now GOD has blessed me with a wonderful wife, Melanie, and has moved
us both to Heidelberg/germany to start a Calvary Chapel there.
We meet there every sunday afternoon...
If you should be there, it would be great to see you there.
...and all because of HIS grace !!!
And this is the reason for this page, to get you hopefully down on your
knees before HE has to break you, like HE broke me, because it hurt !!!
I want to serve my LORD and SAVIOR with all my heart, knowledge, mind,
strength, love and my body. Saying this with Phil.2:13 in mind: "For it is
HE who will provide the good will and the strength"!
To GOD be the glory for ever and ever!!
